While living in Southeast Asia, Jim Lamancusa of Cusa Tea grew to love the experience of a premium cup of tea found in traditional Asian tea shops. He then began to look for premium instant tea to take along on backpacking trips, and found too many preservatives, sugars, and other additives for his liking so decided to create his own.
