Featured in 2019 Backpacker Magazine as an essential breakfast meal!
Trail ForkPeanut-Butter-Banana Oatmeal is based on one of the founder's favorite breakfasts: Oatmeal loaded up with chia seeds and hemp hearts, cooked on the stovetop with soy milk and bananas, and finished off with a healthy dollop of peanut butter. This packet of goodness is filled with healthy fats and protein, and is heartily portioned for active adventurers.
Instructions: Empty contents of package into separate bowl or mug. Boil about 4 ounces water (about 1/2 cups); combine boiling water with package contents. Allow to rehydrate approximately 5 minutes. Eat! Enjoy! Adventure! *Recipes tested in Boulder, Colorado. Food may take longer to rehydrate above 5430’. (note instructions are from Trail Fork. (Trail Fork doesn't recommend pouring water directly into the package because it is compostable. However, you can pour water into the bag, wait 5 minute, and eat - the bag doesn't compost that fast)
